State Assembly Member Laird, of the 27th Assembly District, has selected Water Star Motors as the local small business he would like to honor on California Small Business Day.
He has selected Water Star Motors to receive this award of distinction because of their good work and efforts for going above and beyond as a Green Business in our community.
This award is called Small Business of the Year. Only 400 of these awards have been given in the whole state of California since the year 2000. The Water Star Motors' team is very honored to represent Santa Cruz in this way.

In 2005 Henry and Lisa Carter of Water Star Motors along with Noel Murphy Productions presented "If My Car Could Talk Show". They asked the queston, "If your car could talk, what would it say?" People found out every Wednesday evening 7-8 pm on KSCO Live for six months.
We're not klank and klunk, but we have spark and spunk. Our content varies as much as people and cars, but each week be sure to hear about some old classics, hot news on new cars, biodiesel facts, maintenance issues, quips and quotes. It is a safe environment to ask your most burning question about your car.
